Question:
Did you start playing music in childhood? How did your music carrier develop?
Answer:
I started to play in public a long time ago. In my childhood, my brothers and I used to play trio, it was our first singing and playing band.
After graduating from the University I started to write music and in 1994 I made my first solo video “The Night Rain”, which was on the New Year TV program.

Question:
Do you write music now?
Answer:
Yes. I have a lot of compositions, which haven’t been recorded yet. Five solo discs saw the light. Now, the sixth CD, recorded in America, is about to be released soon.

Question:
Do you visit the USA often?
Answer:
Yes, I am going to fly there on the New Year’s Eve. I have a lot of friends and partners there. I work with a famous group “Katina’s”. Before, they used to sing with Whitney Huston. I worked with Roy Anders, also with Jonathan Butler, who is a very popular and famous jazz player.

Question:
How did your work in America start?
Answer:
Three years ago Mark Bazilevich, a President of the International Festival “The Bridges of Love”, invited me to Chicago. Everybody liked my performance and our work became a friendship. I traveled all around America. The last year, I played in the concert of the Independence Day of Ukraine, in Chicago, while they were raising a flag. I took part in a “Madison Square GardenADISON SQUARE GARDEN” festival, which is a famous hall for 25 000 seats. It shocks with its mighty.
Besides, I like Europe very much. A month ago I came back from a tour around Europe: Norway, Denmark and Sweden. I played a solo program there. Every home is like a history in many cities there.

Have you ever been to the East?
Answer:
Yes, I’ve been to Japan, Korea.

Question:
What could you say about the Country of the Rising Sun?
Answer:
I have a perfect Japanese instrument, I drive a Japanese car, but it would be difficult for me to live there. They have different culture, different world.

Question:
You’ve received a title of an honored artist, how much is it important to you?
Answer:
Not very much. It is the most important, when people like your music and you hear their appreciation. The most important thing to me was my victory in the International Festival “Music World” in Italy, where participants from 59 countries of the world took part. Besides, I took a people’s choice prize there too. And the following year I had a tour with a solo program all over Italy.

Question:
What are you professional plans for the nearest future?
Answer:
As I work on the release of the Album for motorists “Music of Roads”. I have an idea to produce a couple of albums of all famous hits of Ukrainian singers in an instrumental arrangement. Not long ago I recorded a song “You like you” performed by Victor Pavlik. Unfortunately, there is not enough financing for all the projects.

Question:
Every artist has a Muse, what does inspire you?
Answer:
I like nature very much. I am lucky to travel abroad and always have a chance to enjoy the beauty of various views of picturesque surroundings. Recently I have seen one of God’s wonders in Norway, I can say so. It was a rock that got detached from a mountain and beetled over the Sea. Its length is 605 meters. To get there, you should walk 12 kilometers along the mountains. It was hard, but I’d done it. You feel that special beauty and might of the nature. All this kaleidoscope of impressions, mountains, forests with their abundance of mushrooms and berries, mountain waterfalls and lakes, inspires me to create, to make and to enjoy life. Love has an important meaning too. I like white color. Many people write about the dark side of human relationship; I compose about white, about kindness, real love, sincerity and faithfulness. I am absolutely sure that there are more kind good people than bad ones.
